Xbox 360 social applications will start adult-only
Posted on 9th November 2009 by Ross McClymont

Facebook, Last.fm and Twitter interactions will not be available for members aged between 13 and 17 when they are released, however parental controls for the add-ons will become available a few months afterwards.

Xbox Live's Major Nelson stated that parental controls will not be a standard feature of the applications at launch and hence Microsoft made the decision to restrict their use to over 18s only while a patch is worked on.

So for now, the young'uns will have to stick to using Facebook, Last.fm and Twitter on their computers.
